The Wood River Valley offers multiple options for ice skating and hockey, no matter the season!
Campion Ice Center
Hailey Ice, the local nonprofit organization which has long supported ice skating & ice hockey opportunities in Hailey for local youth, opened the brand new “Campion Ice House” indoor ice rink and events facility in November 2015, thanks to the support of the local community and a $4 million gift from long time Wood River Valley resident, Lynn Campion-Waddell’s family foundation – The Deer Creek Fund.
Hailey Rodeo Arena
In the winter, the Hailey Rodeo arena is transformed into a public, multi-use outdoor skating and hockey rink by the nonprofit Hailey Ice organization. The rink is located on the south end of town, right off of Main Street. Easy to find and easy to enjoy!
Sun Valley Ice Rink
For those looking for a touch of historical flavor to their ice skating experience should not miss making some turns on the famous Sun Valley Ice Rink at the Sun Valley Resort, just 12 miles north of Hailey. Home to world-famous ice shows each Saturday evening in the summer, the rink is open daily year-round for public skating with rentals and lessons also available.
