The Sun Valley Culinary Institute’s (SVCI) Fall Gathering presents a curated food experience with live auctions along with specialty private dinners hosted by world-renowned James Beard award-winning chefs, and some cowboy-inspired culture and a special horse boarding exclusive in the Valley.

SVCI’s Fall Gathering 2023 fundraiser, a country-western food and wine experience, supports the SVCI Professional Fund, which assists culinary student education and housing costs. The Fall Gathering will take place at the Elk Run Ranch in Hailey, Idaho, on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 5:30-10 p.m. with a selection of vintners and craft beers by Warfield Distillery & Brewery and “cowboy” cuisine from Chef Rodrigo Herrera of Vintage Restaurant, Chef Taveesak “Dang” Chanthasuthisom of Dang Thai Cuisine and Chef Adam Fisher of Gretchen’s at the Sun Valley Resort. SVCI Fall Gathering is also supported by Devoto Gelato and Mahoney’s Bar & Grill.

The Fall Gathering evening’s festivities include live entertainment from one of country music’s top emerging performers, Kurt Van Meter. In addition, there will also be mechanical bull rides, cornhole tossing, a bonfire and several other activities to enjoy. The benefit will round up with dessert by the bonfire under the stars.

Come dressed in your cowboy-inspired attire and join the Sun Valley Culinary Institute staff, board and supporters for a one-of-a-kind Western celebration to support a school that is changing lives and is a cornerstone of the Wood River Valley community.
